Padman Actress Urmila Mahanta’s Next Is An Assamese Thriller

      “Since I have done films in Assam, my director Monjori Borkotoky approached me for the role and I loved the script. Veteran Bishnu Kharghoria will also play a pivotal role along with me. I am shooting the entire film in Guwahati for next 20-25 days. The film schedule is expected to wrap up by December 16th and the makers are aiming to send it to several film festivals prior to the theatrical release,” she adds. Recently Urmila won the best actress award at the 7th State Film Award for most talked about film of Assam Bokul. She received the award from eminent directors Prakash Jha and Amol Palekar.
